Standing Strong with A Safe Place
Our partnership with A Safe Place has continued to grow, marking years of support for survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking in Lake County, Illinois. In 2024, we:
· Sponsored events like the Unmask the Violence Gala and Wine, Women & Shoes, helping to raise critical funds.
· Attended the EmpoweRun 5K to raise awareness and funds for A Safe Place’s mission.
· Provided Thanksgiving turkey donations to help families in need celebrate the holiday.
· Assembled and donated Halloween costumes to children of survivors to create a sense of normalcy.
This partnership means the world to us, and we’re honored to play a small role in the life-changing work A Safe Place does every day.
Growing a Greener Future with Chicago Botanic Gardens
This year, we deepened our partnership with the Chicago Botanic Gardens, supporting biodiversity, sustainability, and education initiatives. Whether it was through volunteer efforts or business collaborations, our team worked alongside the garden’s experts to promote conservation efforts that keep our green spaces thriving. It’s all about protecting our planet—one plant (or pollinator!) at a time.
Investing in ESG
In 2024 we hired our first-ever Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Specialist to help us supercharge our sustainability and ethical business initiatives. From reducing our carbon footprint to ensuring responsible sourcing, we’re making sure that our business practices align with our values. Having a dedicated expert on board means we can set even bigger goals—and crush them.
Celebrating Inclusivity at Lake County Pride Fest & Juneteenth Festival
Diversity and inclusion aren’t just checkboxes for us—they’re part of who we are. That’s why we were thrilled to support Lake County Pride Fest and the Lake County Juneteenth Festival, two incredible events that celebrate love, equality, and progress. Touring Allmade Manufacturing Facilities in Honduras ️
This year, a group of our team members traveled to Honduras to tour the Allmade facilities and see sustainable manufacturing in action. Allmade is revolutionizing the apparel industry by producing ethically made, eco-friendly garments—and we got a firsthand look at their impact. From fair wages to responsible sourcing, this trip reaffirmed our commitment to working with brands that align with our values. Seeing it all in person? Absolutely inspiring.
